I’m not blaming them, maybe it just wasn’t the right time. Oh, no, no. I’d worked obviously with Jon and Ian before in Paice Ashton Lord, so I knew what to expect. And if we did go back, I will go back and say, well look, maybe I can rewrite it. It’s a really good record. But it’s a great live album. The song was written quite late on when we were doing Saints and Sinners, I think it was the last thing we recorded, actually. They’re my thoughts. Bernie Marsden: Well, that got edited in America. I simply didn’t believe it. Pete Solly was in the band then, before Jon Lord, and we recorded the whole album with Pete, and then Jon joined the band. Same deal as Jon, you know, what do you do the best rock drummer in the world would like maybe to be in your band, well what are you going to do, you know? Bernie Marsden: Yeah. Bernie Marsden: It was that kind of time, yeah. and Paice. I had been the author of my own demise with my comment to David about ending the band. ANTIHERO: What about deciding who did what solo, with you and Micky? Bernie Marsden: … going to write a song for. But I like, I’ve always, Manchester has always been a vibey place for me anyway. But Don did a great job on it. ANTIHERO: So, you were saying, Pete’s stuff got removed?
