I'm a sucker for movies that remind me of my younger years, and this is definitely one of them (well, seeing as it's made for kids, that's hardly surprising). Tony believes his dreams are true and has trouble making friends because of his obsession. After they save each other's lives, Tony and Rudolph go on some amazing adventures. $5,719,627 I would give this movie a 7 out of 10. Autoplay. watch it! Tony fights with some boys at school and ends up with a bloody nose. Wonderful costumes too. I know he is a little boy, but, still. A boy is fascinated by vampires and eventually meets some, becoming their friend and helping them against the vampire hunter and with some other problems. But, his life will change forever after he befriends a vampire named Rudolph. And for many children it will serve as a portal into more advanced fright-fests like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed. Any child who didn't enjoy this film should watch a little more closely. It's certainly not "Gone With the Wind", but it's good entertainment and definitely worth a viewing. Tony not only befriends the vampires, he risks his own life to offer them refuge and rescue them from sure death on more than one occasion. But, the rest of the movie was great, too. The Little Vampire is a delightful film about a little boy from America, Tony, who is teased and picked on at his new school in Scotland by the local laird's obnoxiously arrogant grandsons. There is magic the whole way through the film, not only as the friendship is formed, but also when it is tested. At first, Tony enjoys flying through the moonlit sky so much that he says he wishes he could be a vampire himself, though Rudolph assures him that the grass isn’t greener on the other side of the graveyard fence and that he should be thankful for who he is. Oh, and, I really think Tony (Jonathan Lipnicki) was very annoying. A man smokes cigars. amazing! | Awards Overall, very enjoyable, while not being the best movie I have ever seen.
