Based on this we have now re-launcehd the coalition pathfinder service. Links: My vote is for Pathfinder. :) … 2016-11-18 13:54:38 UTC, - Hard one. yeah i too noticed pathfinder can be very sluggish to respond and kept going offline tripwire is ok but i find the text a tad to small for my old eyes. Maybe I just din’t know where to find all the functionality in Pathfinder, but at this stage TripWire just seems more functional. Based on this we have now re-launcehd the coalition pathfinder service. Please leave a comment down bellow to this post with your preference so that we can decide which one we will be using! It is now up to you to decide which mapping tool we should be using? A full feature list can be found on the project page. We have recently discussed about everyones favorite mapping tools on our discord. I do think that multiple chains is easier to track via Tripwire, but as a wormhole resident I will always be centering my activities from the home hole. Issues should be reported in the Issue section. I used Siggy for a long time and liked it. Of the two, Tripwire is easily the more powerful tool, but Siggy is far more intuitive and (IMO) has a more pleasant UI. It does get clustered up faster, we just need to start creating personal tabs for personal chains and make sure to clean up after another. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast, Looks like you're using new Reddit on an old browser. I tried to use Trapwire (purposely mispelled) for weeks, the utube video was out of date and left me more confused than just trying to flounder around with it, after clearing up my sign-in issues I was finally looking at and receiving updates, but actually using it was frustrating to an extreme. Pathfinder (mostly held back by being buggy atm), Xcam (never used it - but its gotta be better then tripwire). I started using TripWire 2 weeks ago. Coalition mapping tool changed to pathfinder. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts, -( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)╯╲___卐卐卐卐 Dont mind me, just walking my line members. So im voting for pathfinder. And yet ccp still promised no functionality would be lost with crest.... . Do you prefer one over another? 2016-11-16 19:18:01 UTC, - I also tested Pathfinder yesterday. I might try Siggy again. Siggy. Really Siggy is so cheap that the cost shouldn't be a factor. I tried Tripwire really briefly but liked Siggy more, maybe that's because I didn't learn it fully though. Right now I use tripwire and though it works management and reporting through a central server would be ideal. However if it starts from all over the places, it starts to look messy (with multiple connection trees) and hard to find yourself in it. 2016-11-20 16:46:03 UTC, - I like both, tripwire seems more chill for a solo guy but it's buggy at times. I'm looking for recommendations that have actually been used and not just google results. Pathfinder has a very comfortable layout for wh signature and makes much easier to build the connections. I very much prefer Siggy, but I don't hate Tripwire like everyone else seems to. All artwork, screenshots, characters, vehicles, storylines, world facts or other recognizable features of the intellectual property relating to these trademarks are likewise the intellectual property of CCP hf. One. 2016-11-18 18:41:15 UTC, - Thanks! I have little fear or trepidation about visiting the WH’s now, and may even try a solo trip down there when I get a chance. Used to use tripwire before they removed the IGB. No local in null sec would fix everything! Tripwire is in that way better because you can easily search (using search box) for the system you are looking for, paste all the sigs and edit those you are interested very quickly. 2016-11-17 00:03:10 UTC, - Like others, I found Tripwire difficult to see and not as intuitive. EVE Online, the EVE logo, EVE and all associated logos and designs are the intellectual property of CCP hf. These forums have been archived and are now read-only. I dont like about Tripwire it has complicated starter settings, that might be difficult for new users. tripwire is hot garbage. I'm almost to the point of switching to Tripwire which I'd really prefer not to do. Has anyone associated with Pathfinder's maintenance made any statement about fixing this? I've only used Tripwire and Siggy. EVE allows you to discover, explore and dominate an amazing science fiction universe while you fight, trade, form corporations and alliances with other players. The corporations I've been in have only ever used Siggy, and that's what I use for my own mapping now too. recently started to use pathfinder, question everytime i open it i have to login then authorize it, is there away to not have to do this everytime i open it?
