This is a very easy game, so a beginner would not find it challenging. THE MUSIC IS SO VERY GOOD! Only you can do it! Save her! This kept me interested in the detective story element of the game and because I had utilized each character's dialogue to their fullest extent, I was able to solve the mystery before the game beat me to it. Captured my "heart" with adventure! The music was fabulous, though it reminded me of the score in a 1930s/1940s mystery murder movie. I bought the CE.I'm so happy to have a beautiful game to play. I thoroughly enjoyed this game but the talking in it just sometimes went on a little too much, never the less I still loved the mystery and adventure of the game which made me feel like a real detective..

I recommend (highly) buying the Collector's Edition because the added bonus chapter brings the mystery to a new level of eerie plot and scenes of the town in Scotland were superb graphics (imo). This game was full of twists, trying to figure out who did it kept teasing my brain. After playing the demo I just had to have it. Olivia must live! Very enjoyable, adult game, no sickly cute creatures.
The killer must be brought to justice! I've had it sitting in my Game Manager for awhile and finally got around to playing it, then kicked myself for having waited so long.
The hint button is directional outside of the HOS or zooms in to the object if it's in the scene. The voice overs and graphic's are amazing. I just finished this mystery and liked it very much.
I also enjoyed the comments of the builders of this game, as well as the other extra's.

It reminded me of the Sherlock Holmes kind of games, the way the characters speak and the style of game as well.The story was well done so are the characters.

Heck, even the hidden-object scenes are typically easy on the eyes and fun to mess around with. Story is excellent. The character models tend to look best from a distance, but the design as a whole is remarkably well done, from the artwork to the soundtrack. They are all hints in the games. It's a great story of love, suspense, a real who-done-it! Olivia must live!

But buying the CE is worth it for the bonus chapter because it ties the last part of the game together. There is plenty to do in this game. other than that its great. Otherwise they are list type with a bunch of junk, albeit pretty junk.
The hidden object scenes were unique and entertaining in themselves--and this from a die-hard adventure gamer! It was like being part of a murder mystery movie. The story does end without the bonus chapter. There are puzzles and the difficulty level for each one is just right (at least for me). The characters are unique and each character has quite a bit of dialogue scripted in. Play the demo and read some reviews. Didn’t know if would be this good.
This game is very different in that there is an enormous amount of dialogue, but I loved that part the best. I am pretty much hard to please with Hidden objects games but this one is just incredible. . I never get tired of replaying it. But this one has retained it's playability (if that is such a word!). Your username is permanent and yours forever. I thought the visual was excellent. I usually go for CE versions where they are available and I will with this one as I want the fullest experience of this most impressive game.

It also was well done and of a good length. The storyline is great and you feel as you were really with them, trying to solve the mystery. The story really draws you in. It's almost like an interactive movie - and there is an intriguing storyline to follow too which really kept my interest.
