Kay & I made him a real rubber tree plant for his 60th birthday that he got a kick out of. A lifelong resident of Fargo, Don was born Oct 19, 1935 to Lindsay and Angeline Scott. I loved to be with him playing Bridge, playing a round of golf, or visiting about a variety of topics.

Don is survived by his daughter Stacy (David), son Craig, grandchildren Ashley, Jamie (Kevin) and Joseph (Blythe) and his brother Kenneth (Nancy). He was the executive director of the Alex Stern Foundation at the time of his death. Don was a deeply loved member of our family. Retirement from banking gave him more time to pursue his other interests: golfing, fishing, riding his green bicycle and wintering in Mesa, AZ. We never heard a critical comment from him. We will also miss the sound of the typewriter that he used to communicate with the nonprofit world.
